St. Vrain FC offers a number of choices for soccer during the summer months.  These include:

St. Vrain FC Goalkeeper Trainer Michael Colley will train goalies all week on GK skills including: positioning, communication, proper technique, distribution, shot-stopping, breakaways, goalkicks, crosses and everything else related to goalies.

U8-U10: August 2-6.  9:00 AM - 10:30 AM

U11 - U14: August 2-6. 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Cost is $100 / player.

ALL GOALKEEPER CAMPS WILL BE HELD AT LONGMONT ESTATES ELEMENTARY.

*** St. Vrain FC is excited to announce the 4v4 Drop in summer league for the summer of 2010! ***

The point of the Drop in league is to give players a chance to just go out there and play! Soccer players don’t get enough ’authentic play’ these days - it seems that every time they are playing it’s in a structured setting with coaches.  The drop in league is a chance for players to have fun, play games, and meet new friends without having to worry about the pressure of a coach instructing them or telling them what to do.

The Format

- Players will show up every week and be randomly placed into teams of 4 (or 5 with a sub). Teams will be different every week.

- St. Vrain FC staff will oversee everything: lining the fields, setting up the goals every week, having pinnies there to separate the teams, randomly selecting teams, keeping the games organized, and showing the players cool moves and tricks every week.  Players and parents don’t have to worry about anything except showing up and having fun!

- Each team gets 3 games, 15 minutes each against other teams.  There will then be a 5 to 10 minute break where players can get water, and then figure out which field they play on next.

... The 4 vs. 4 Summer drop in league will be held at Sunset Middle School.  Cost is $50 per player.

For almost a decade, Coerver Colorado has held a camp in Longmont. This year’s will again be at Longmont Estates Elementary School from June 21-25.  Many St. Vrain FC players have attended these camps in previous years. “Let’s Get Better” are the first words of each day at the Coerver Camps. Players do get better.

We’re pleased to announce that St. Vrain FC will be expanding it’s relationship with Coerver Coaching. Among other things, it will bring some great clinics to the club and our coaches.

Information about Coerver^® Coaching and the camp is found here. By special arrangement with Coerver^® Colorado, a 10% Discount is being extended to all St. Vrain FC families through Tuesday, May 25.  This Discount applies for all the 2010 Coerver Camps, not just the one at Longmont Estates. It does require full payment at the time of registration. A $20.00 Team Discount will be available after May 25 for as long as places remain available in the different camps.
