Recreational Director of Coaching

We are excited to announce the addition of Josh Woita to the St. Vrain FC coaching staff as the Recreational Director of Coaching!

Josh joins us from Northern Illinois University, where he served as the Men’s Soccer Director of Operations.  In addition to working at NIU, Josh was on the coaching staff at Northern Illinois FC, where he performed many duties from 2006 to 2011.  Previously, Josh was the Men’s Head Soccer Coach at Kishwaukee College in Malta, Illinois, where he coached 5 All-Americans, 4 Academic All-Americans, and 39 Academic All-Conference student-athletes.  Over 8 seasons, he compiled an overall record of 117-38-9. Josh also holds a USSF “B” license.

At St. Vrain FC, Josh will serve as the Recreational Director of Coaching.  He will be the point of contact for all U4-U8 players, coaches, and parents, as well as all U11-U14 recreational teams.  He will be working on developing and implementing coaching curriculum for our U4-U8 recreational coaches, as well as running coaching clinics.  You will see him at our U4-U8 recreational fields on Saturdays.  We are extremely fortunate to have found somebody with the right combination of experience, attitude, personality, and enthusiasm for teaching the beautiful game!

As a player, Josh played at Central College in Pella Iowa while receiving his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science.  He was a four year starter at Central, was named the most valuable freshman in 1995, and was the team captain and most inspirational player in 1998.  Josh just moved to Colorado with his wife, Tina, and 2 dogs, Giggs and Maze.

Please join us in welcoming Josh to St. Vrain FC!  He can be reached at 303.651.3109 x 100 and at josh@stvrainfc.com.
