St. Vrain Youth Academy
 

The St. Vrain FC Youth Academy is for those players looking to elevate their game to the next level. Through proper training and repetition the Academy strives for excellence in preparing youth players for the challenges presented in the game of soccer. With a low player to coach ratio the players will receive the special attention needed to excel in the technical elements of the game. The Academy is coached by Mike Clayton, SVFC Technical Director.

 

The U9 Academy runs 8 weeks while the U10 Academy will last 10 weeks. Training will be held once a week for one hour. Participants can register for either the Wednesday group or Friday group or both. 

 
Camp Training Topics:
  • Dribbling/Footwork/Skill Moves and how to implement them 1v1
  • Shooting/Finishing
  • Passing/Receiving
  • Defending 1v1 and 2v2
